Biggest tirukkural book prepared by Industrialist VG Santhosam is on display at the Exhibition in Coimbatore to mark the Tamil conference On the occasion of the World Classical Tamil Conference at Coimbatore the VGP group chairman VG Santhosam has created a massive size model book of Tirukkural to be presented to Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Karunanidhi.
Dr.V.G. Santosam and Vice Chairman Dr.V.G. Selvaraj said the book is 8' x 5' x 3' in size and produced of thick foam board on both sides. It has laminated 133 chapters and all the 1330 versus of Thirukkural. Each page is printed colourfully with inject technology. The entire book is mounted on a wooden platform fitted with gleaming brass hooks for turning the pages. The structure is easily movable because of wheels fitted at the bottom. The whole structure weights about a tonne. Now, this book is on display at the exhibion in the venue of Tamil conference being held at Kovai (Coimbatore).
